I'm working with an engineer to update Edge's support in BCD. But it doesn't need to block this. We can update later.
Note that the BCD support will be a little funky: my understanding is that the method is only supported in MS store-installed PWAs. I wonder how we can gracefully handle this. In BCD, it most probably means that we need to set the partial implementation status to true, which will make this feature look like it doesn't work in Edge.
