Pixel 8a and 9 series sometimes do not render the calender

In case I hope the view I have a 1 in 7 chance that the part inside the <AnimatedCrossView is not displayed

Expected behaviour

The content should be displayed

How to reproduce?

You have to own a Pixel device I could not reproduce it with any simulator.

I am able to reproduce this in Poco M2, the calendar in datepicker appears occasionally. It was working as expected in version 0.21.7 but after updating to 0.22.28 it only works occasionally

This issue is only with android 14, on lower android versions & in iOS its working as expected.

Seems New arch issue for me. Will work if we disable new arch.

Same issue here with the new Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra. (Android 15) But also on my Galaxy Tab S9 (Android 14). Using the latest expo, react-native-paper + react-native-paper-dates packages.

I was picking around and tried to recreate the issue with ever increasing complexity to recreate the issue we are facing in case someone wants to continue https://github.com/DerBasler/calendar
For now I had to switch the date picker to satisfy my deadline 😅
