X: WebCrumbs vs. Drupal
Drupal is a PHP-based platform that's been around the block. It's known for its robustness and flexibility, particularly for complex, large-scale websites. It can function as a decoupled CMS but was built originally as a monolithic platform. Like WordPress, Drupal also has a strong developer community, though it might be a tad more challenging for those without coding skills.
Now, WebCrumbs is a different beast. It's crafted on React and is a decoupled CMS by design. Unlike Drupal, which leans on PHP, WebCrumbs taps into the JavaScript universe, opening doors for plugin development in not just React, but also Angular, Vue, or Svelte. This could give it a wide appeal among a diverse set of developers. WebCrumbs is also tailored to be user-friendly, catering to both the tech-savvy and the tech-not-so-savvy.
So, when it comes down to it, Drupal offers a more traditional, PHP-based environment that's tried and tested. WebCrumbs, on the other hand, is looking to shake things up with a modern, flexible, and inclusive approach. If it can garner a community and ecosystem comparable to Drupal's, it could become a serious contender in the CMS space.
