Loaders can't be resolved

I'm currently trying to separate the rewire-webpack stuff into its own repository: https://github.com/jhnns/rewire-webpack.

But I'm having three errors related to resolving:

ERROR in ./webpackTests.js
Module not found: Error: Cannot resolve file or directory /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/lib/rewire.js/test/testModules/moduleA in /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/test.

ERROR in ./webpackTests.js
Module not found: Error: Cannot resolve file or directory /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/lib/rewire.js/test/testModules/moduleA in /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/test.

ERROR in ../~/mocha-loader/web.js
Module not found: Error: Cannot resolve module script in /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/node_modules/mocha-loader.
 @ ../~/mocha-loader/web.js 4:0-32

First two errors are due requiring rewire-files with require("rewire/test/testModules/moduleA") which is valid in node. The last error is because webpack can't find the script-loader. Ok so I checked the mocha-loader and saw the the script-loader is not referenced as dependency. After I've manually installed it in the mocha-loader directory the error looked like:

Module not found: Error: Cannot resolve module raw in /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/node_modules/mocha-loader/node_modules/mocha.

Which seemed odd to me because the raw-loader is referenced as dependency. Or has the module not been pushed to the npm registry?

The rewire module is aliased to /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/lib/rewire.js, which makes rewire/test/testModules/moduleA resolve to /home/peerigon/projects/rewire-webpack/lib/rewire.js/test/testModules/moduleA

Have you figured out the raw-loader-thing yet?

yeah... the script-loader is wrong... it should not add a !raw! to the request but an absoute path to the raw-loader as it isn't resolved in the loaders directory but in the directory of the request.

I've changed that:

If you alias a module to a file, it's only used if you require the module without path.

It makes no sense to resolve a path behind a file.

So now require("rewire") should resolve to the aliased rewire.js, while require("rewire/...") resolve as normal...

webpack: bundle is now VALID.

Try npm install webpack-dev-server -g and keep in mind that npm update does not update devDependencies.

webpack should be a dependency not a devDependency...

Yep, you're right. Sorry 😀 . My local webpack dependency wasn't up2date. Didn't know that webpack-dev-server uses the local install 👍

I'll update the package.json, write a small README and we're set and done.
