Welcome to the documentation wiki of WGG Robotics, the student robotics team of Willibald-Gluck-Gymnasium Neumarkt (Germany).
Here we collect all important information about our robots, projects, competitions and technical documentation.
WGG Robotics is a student team focusing on mobile robots for´rescue scenarios and autonomous navigation.
We:
- design and build our own robots (rovers, quadrupeds, crawlers)
- develop software for perception, navigation and control
- participate in RoboCup Rescue / RMRC and other robotics competitions
- work in small sub-teams on hardware, software and documentation
For a more detailed overview, see: About the Team
Our main robots and platforms are documented on separate pages:
- N10 – RMRC Rover
- Idefix – Quadruped Robo Dog
- Quac – All-Terrain Crawler
- SLAM Test Platform – "noname"
Each project page contains:
- a short description and goals
- hardware overview (mechanics, electronics, sensors)
- software stack (ROS 2, simulation, control)
- build notes and lessons learned
We document our competition history, preparation and results:
- RoboCup events (national & international)
- local contests and demonstrations
- logs, photos and short reports

Competitions
Here we collect technical knowledge that is shared across projects:
- setup guides for development environments (Ubuntu, ROS 2, simulation tools)
- coding guidelines and repository structure
- hardware tips (3D printing, wiring, calibration, etc.)
- troubleshooting and FAQ
