Archiving project

As you might have noticed, this project hasn't been very active. To be honest, I lost my motivation when I looked at the devilution team's progress. There just didn't seem to be any point in continuing - they "won" by finishing first. At some point I had to look at the amount of effort required to finish this project, and it just doesn't make sense, especially when you consider that I'd prefer to spend my free gamedev time working on original games.

I have no hard feelings, and I'm still glad I started this project, as I learned a ton - it taught me:

• git
• C++
• cmake
• dependency management
• netcode
• how to structure code in general

and it got me my first two jobs. So yeah, thanks to all the people who contributed, and I'm sorry it ended this way.

Sorry about that, your project was cool and a different approach. We mostly learned how not to structure code 😅

Is it possible your website was hacked? It's talking about casinos https://freeablo.org/best-casinos-games.html

More likely the website was shutdown and some cyber squirter bought it and recovered the look from something like archive.org to improve the phishing ability of the new one they put in place of the original.
The new one was setup around 2022-07-13
