v1.5.0 - Modding, New Character and More!

Mods are here. 8 optional mods, all off by default, so the game plays exactly the same unless you turn them on.

🧩 How mods work

• They live in the new mods folder (Android: IsaacRecomp/mods/, Switch: sd:/switch/isaac/mods/).
• Turn them on and off in mods/mods.txt (on = 1), or use tools/mod_manager.html in any browser. It's offline: change the options, save, then drop the file into mods.
• Bundled mods update themselves on new releases and keep your settings.

🎮 The mods

📊 StatOn	Shows your stats and your devil/angel room chance on screen, like Repentance
🧪 GenesisConsole	A debug console: give items, spawn anything, warp, god mode. ⚠️ Nothing saves while it's on
🖥️ WideSaac	Widescreen support. Hyper Zoom makes the room fill the screen; press M / L3 for the map
💊 PillLog	Once you've taken a pill, its effect shows on every pill of that colour
📖 Itemnomicon	Walk up to an item, trinket or card to see what it does before you take it
⏱️ BaseTime	Speedrun timers, plus your best time on the main menu
👻 The Gone	A new character like The Lost: no hearts, dies in one hit, 4 unlockables of his own
🌈 RainbowVision	Colour-blind filters (deuteranopia, protanopia, tritanopia)

Console commands are listed in tools/genesis_wiki.html.
To unlock The Gone, clear 3 floors in a row without getting hit or picking up a heart.

⚙️ Fixes & improvements

• Less input lag and smoother motion on 60/120 Hz screens
• Faster rendering, especially on Switch
• Boss music no longer restarts after bosses that split (Duke of Flies, etc.)
• Escape or Back now closes the pause menu
• Better controller navigation on the character select screen
• You can no longer start locked characters by accident
• Minor visual bug fixes and lower memory use

Updating from 1.4.x: replace the program files. Your saves and isaac.ini still work. On PC, also copy the new mods and tools folders.
