Why should I bother posting a question here when I could just as easily email the professor?

Answer

If you post a question here, the answer will also be posted here and will therefore be available to other students who might have the same question. Also, your professor prefers to use a public forum to answer questions about the class, so if you ask your question here the response time will usually be faster than if you use email.
