Coxy Events Organizer features

  1. Organizer account and authentication — Organizer Signup/Signin through the centralized Coxygen/Coxy Wallet identity flow; Organizer Coxy SSO return; Primary Email verification; profile completion; compatibility with existing Organizer accounts; coordinated logout so the Coxy Wallet/Coxygen session does not accidentally redirect authentication away from Events.

  2. Organizer Profile — Manage Organizer-specific profile information, Organization, Organizer ADA receiving address, admin theme and supported account settings. Shared Coxygen identity details can remain synchronized with the linked Primary Email profile.

  3. Organizer dashboard / My Events workspace — Shows only events owned by the signed-in Organizer and displays dashboard statistics such as Owned Events, Confirmed RSVPs, Clock-ins and Open Enquiries. Current workspace shortcuts include Profile, Shared Info, Monetization, Moderation, Adverts, Create Event and Market.

  4. Create Event — Create a complete event with title, category, date, timezone, start/end times, address, city, postal code, country, attendance format, description, banner, allowed participant countries, Gallery settings, referrals and optional ADA payment/donation configuration. In-person, online and hybrid events are supported, with private HTTPS meeting URLs for online/hybrid events.

  5. Event themes and configuration — Assign event category and theme, attendance mode, physical location, participant-country restrictions, event visibility and other event-specific configuration. Ownership checks prevent one Organizer from changing another Organizer's event.

  6. Update Event — Edit an existing owned event while keeping its Event ID and associated RSVP/attendance records. Organizer ownership is checked before event administration actions.

  7. Deactivate Event — Disable/cancel an event without losing the historical event data. Deactivated events are excluded from normal active/public workflows. The Organizer controls event status independently from attendee records.

  8. View and share Event — Open the public event page and distribute the public event link. Logged-out people who choose Join Event are routed through Signup/Signin and returned to the intended event flow afterward.

  9. RSVP management — Open event-specific RSVP, check-in lists, view confirmed participants, distinguish people who joined from people who actually attended, and manage participant eligibility.

  10. Attendance management — View Check-ins, Check-outs and attendance duration; distinguish confirmed RSVPs from checked-in attendees; handle event-day attendance; and support automatic session closure at the event deadline when appropriate.

  11. Gatekeeper accounts — Add Gatekeepers for individual events so venue staff can assist with attendance without receiving full Organizer administration privileges. A dedicated Gatekeeper Guide explains the workflow.

  12. Gate Mode — Gatekeeper/Organizer-assisted Check-in supports verified RSVP email lookup, eligibility checks, current venue nonce, attendance photo and optional GPS evidence. Duplicate Check-ins are prevented.

  13. Venue nonce — Each event has a rotating six-digit venue nonce generated from a ten-minute time bucket. It is exposed only to authenticated Organizer/Gatekeeper accounts while attendance is open; the immediately previous bucket is accepted around rotation boundaries.

  14. Optional GPS attendance evidence — GPS does not block attendance. If captured, the Organizer can see participant coordinates, calculated distance from the configured venue and inside/outside-radius evidence; the information is also available in exports.

  15. Participant blocking and reactivation — Block/unblock a participant for an event, record an optional reason, deactivate a venue no-show and reactivate the participant later.

  16. Attendance Gallery moderation — Organizer controls can hide inappropriate Check-in attendee images from the public Attendees Gallery and restore them later. Participant privacy controls cannot override an explicit Organizer moderation decision.

  17. Event Attendees — Manually add attendees who were not captured through the normal RSVP/Check-in flow. Organizer can enter full name, country, event date/time and photo, then update the record/photo, deactivate it from the public Gallery or reactivate it later. These records remain ownership-protected and are labelled Added by Organizer.

  18. Event Photos — Bulk upload Organizer event photographs separately from attendee Check-in evidence. Current implementation supports up to 50 photos per selection, up to 15 MB per photo, batch caption/date-time, later caption editing, Hide/Restore and automatic Public Gallery enablement for published events.

  19. Public Event Videos — Organizer can upload multiple public event videos independently of Participant Shared Audio/Video. Current uploader supports up to 12 videos per batch and an application limit of 500 MB per video; Organizer controls include Hide/Restore and Delete. Videos can appear in Gallery Public Event Videos and on the public Event page.

  20. Public Gallery control — Organizer can enable/disable an event's public Gallery. Gallery content includes Attendees, Participant public photos, Organizer Event Photos, Shared Text and Shared Audio/Video; disabling the event Gallery suppresses its public attendee material.

  21. Participant public-post permissions — For each owned event the Organizer can independently allow or disable new Participant Public Text, Public Audio and Public Video submissions. Private Participant content remains separate. The settings API is Organizer-only, event-ownership protected and CSRF protected.

  22. Public-content moderation — Organizer has a Moderation area for public-content reports and controls associated with content published within their events. The Community Commerce Organizer area includes Reported public content moderation.

  23. Participant management from attendance lists — Organizer can review participant state, attendance evidence, Gallery status and event-specific actions from the RSVP/Check-in interface rather than managing everything from separate records.

  24. Enquiries — Participants can submit event enquiries and the owning Organizer can open and review the event-specific enquiry list, including participant name/email, message, time and status.

  25. Referral configuration and accounting — Organizer can enable event referrals and configure event referral rewards/credits. Participant referral rewards depend on qualifying checked-in participation rather than merely clicking a referral link.

  26. Export attendees — Export attendance information for reporting and impact records, including RSVP/attendance information, Check-in/Check-out duration and available GPS/distance evidence.

  27. Event NFT minting — Mint a one-shot Cardano Event NFT with quantity exactly one and CIP-721 metadata describing the event. Metadata can contain Event ID, title, category, theme, attendance format, date/time, address, country scope, Organizer and event image.

  28. Organizer-controlled NFT vault — Event and Attendance NFTs can be locked to a validator derived from the Organizer's receiving wallet so future spending requires the Organizer wallet signature. The server does not need the Organizer's private keys.

  29. Pending Attendance NFT minting — Attendance is saved independently from blockchain signing. When a Participant cannot mint during Check-in, an Organizer can later mint the pending Attendance NFT from the attendance administration interface.

  30. ADA event entry fees — Organizer can make an event free or ADA-paid, specify an entry fee and configure the Organizer ADA receiving address. Payment submission is separated from venue eligibility so Organizer staff can confirm or waive payment before Check-in.

  31. ADA donations — Organizer can enable event donations separately from entry fees, with payments directed to the configured Organizer ADA receiving address.

  32. Browser-side wallet security — Cardano transaction construction/signing remains browser-side. PHP/MySQL does not receive wallet seed phrases, private keys or decrypted signing material.

  33. Shared Info — Organizer has a dedicated Shared Info area for Organizer/event information sharing, separate from the public Gallery and Marketplace. This remains a first-class dashboard action alongside Profile, Monetization and Moderation.

  34. Event monetization — Organizer → Monetization includes Audio subscription limits, Video add-ons, legacy paid event resources, advert campaigns and public-content moderation. Event-specific subscription flows remain ADA-based.

  35. General Coxy Marketplace seller — Organizer can sell event merchandise, gifts, clothing/caps, graphics, souvenirs, transport, catering, venue services, training material, digital products and other goods/services.

  36. Marketplace payment methods — Seller listings can support hosted debit/credit-card checkout, ADA through Coxy Wallet, ADA through Lace/CIP-30, BTC and ETH, depending on seller configuration. Physical items can also have shipping charges.

  37. Marketplace listing management — Create products/services, maintain My Shop, update/pause/reactivate/delete listings, configure prices/payment destinations and manage stock/shipping where applicable. The Marketplace is independent of legacy event-resource sales.

  38. Marketplace orders and fulfilment — Organizer/seller can review orders, confirm payments, process sales, mark shipments, record carrier/tracking information and mark delivery complete.

  39. Advert campaigns — Create advertising campaigns using image/GIF creative, target URL and campaign duration. Adverts rotate through Coxy Events advertising positions, while the campaign interface tracks activity such as impressions/clicks and status.

  40. Multi-tenant security — Organizer event administration is ownership-scoped. Event updates, NFT operations, attendee administration, payments, blocking, enquiries, nonce access, Gate Mode and exports re-check the owning Organization/User/Email instead of relying only on the Event ID.

    • Impressions
    • Clicks
    • Campaign activity
  10. Pause/end the campaign when required.

40. Multi-tenant Organizer security

There is normally nothing special you have to switch on for this. Use the normal Organizer controls:

  1. Sign in with your own Organizer identity.
  2. Work only from My Events.
  3. Open an event through its Organizer event card.
  4. Perform updates, NFT operations, attendee management, payments, blocking, enquiries, nonce operations, Gate Mode and exports from there.
  5. The backend should independently verify the owning Organization/User/Email before permitting the operation.
  6. An Event ID by itself must never be treated as proof that an Organizer owns an event.

The practical Organizer workflow is therefore:

Sign in → Create Event → Configure/Publish → Share/Collect RSVPs → Add Gatekeepers → Run Check-in → Manage Attendees → Upload Photos/Videos → Moderate Public Content → Export Results → Use Cardano/NFT features → Monetize/Advertise/Sell → Archive the Event.
