Coxy Events Participant feature, including the Participant dashboard, attendance, media, Gallery interaction, Cardano features, history, referrals and Marketplace.

  1. Participant Signup — Create a Participant identity through the Coxygen/Coxy Wallet onboarding flow. The older standalone Coxy Events account path remains available for compatibility where enabled.

  2. Participant Signin — Sign in from the Participant menu and return automatically to the Participant/Event flow after Coxygen/Coxy Wallet authentication. The Coxy Events bridge uses the authenticated identity without receiving wallet secrets.

  3. Optional standalone account compatibility — Existing Participant email/password accounts can continue to work independently of Coxygen when that compatibility path is retained.

  4. Optional Coxygen account linking — A standalone Participant can explicitly link the local Coxy Events account to a matching Coxygen Primary Email rather than having accounts silently linked by email.

  5. Linked-account email 2FA — Linked accounts can require a six-digit email code on new Coxy Events logins. Codes expire after ten minutes, incorrect attempts are limited and resend is rate-limited.

  6. Participant Profile — Maintain Participant identity information such as name, email, country, short bio and relevant account/profile settings. Standalone accounts retain locally editable profiles.

  7. Primary Email verification — Participant identity and event operations can use verified Primary Email as a trusted event-account identity.

  8. Event discovery — Browse available events from Gallery → Browse events.

  9. Event search — Search events by text and Event ID.

  10. Category filtering — Browse/filter events by event category.

  11. Country, month and year filtering — Public browsing supports Event ID, country, category, month, year and search filters.

  12. Related events — Participants can discover events related by category rather than only browsing the full event list.

  13. View Event — Open a full public event page with the Organizer, date, time, location and other event information.

  14. Join Event / RSVP — Join from a public event card or event page. If authentication is required, the Participant is returned to the original event after Signup/Signin.

  15. In-person / online / hybrid RSVP — Hybrid events allow the Participant to select the supported attendance format while joining.

  16. Private online meeting access — Verified Participants who RSVP to an online/hybrid event can receive the private event link without exposing it through public event discovery.

  17. My Events — Participant History shows the events the user has joined and their RSVP state.

  18. Opt out — A Participant can withdraw from a joined event before attendance without deleting historical attendance that may already exist.

  19. Who joined — View the permitted names of other Participants who joined the same event. The History/event card exposes this as a dedicated action.

  20. Participant ID — Joined-event records can display the Participant's event/account identifier alongside the RSVP.

  21. Attendance history — Keep a record of past events attended rather than losing the event after it has finished.

  22. Event Check-in — A joined Participant can Check in during the permitted event window. Current attendance rules use the event date/time and Organizer access configuration.

  23. Two-hour Check-in window — The established event rules open normal Check-in around two hours before the scheduled start on the event's local date.

  24. Venue nonce support — Event attendance can use the Organizer's rotating six-digit venue nonce. The Participant menu also exposes the Participant nonce view where the Organizer has enabled it.

  25. Optional GPS evidence — Location can be captured during attendance, but GPS denial, missing GPS or being outside the reference radius does not automatically block an otherwise valid Check-in.

  26. Check-in attendance photo — Capture/upload attendance evidence during Check-in.

  27. Check-in photo privacy — A signed-in Participant can keep their attendance image Private or make it Public in Gallery → Attendees.

  28. Replace Check-in photo — Participants can replace their own Check-in photo later.

  29. Public → Private attendance-photo switch — A Participant can withdraw public visibility from their own attendance image. Organizer moderation remains authoritative for images an Organizer has explicitly hidden.

  30. Check-out — Record when the Participant leaves the event and calculate attendance duration.

  31. Automatic missed Check-out handling — Where configured, an attendance session can be finalized at the event deadline when the Participant does not manually Check out.

  32. Gatekeeper-assisted Check-in — A Gatekeeper can Check in an eligible Participant who does not have a suitable smartphone/device while preserving that Participant's attendance record.

  33. Onchain Check-in — A signed-in Participant can use the Cardano-enabled Check-in flow where enabled. Coxy Events saves attendance evidence first and wallet signing occurs through Coxy Wallet.

  34. Two Clock-in Proof Tokens — The current Preprod proof flow can mint exactly 2 Clock-in Proof Tokens into the Participant wallet.

  35. Onchain Check-out — Cardano-enabled Check-out can record a wallet-signed proof transaction as well as attendance duration.

  36. Two Clock-out Proof Tokens — The current Preprod proof flow can mint exactly 2 Clock-out Proof Tokens.

  37. Attendance NFT path — The existing Attendance NFT functionality remains separate from the newer Clock-in/Clock-out proof-token workflow; one does not simply overwrite the other.

  38. Coxy Contest integration — A successful unique Onchain attendance transaction can qualify for the normal Contest transaction points when a Coxy Contest round is active.

  39. Wallet-secret isolation — Coxy Events does not receive the Participant's seed phrase, mnemonic or private keys when Cardano transactions are approved.

  40. Event Notes / Journal — Keep event-specific personal notes rather than mixing them with public social content.

  41. Event Photos — Upload Participant event-memory photographs with the available Private/Public visibility options.

  42. Public Participant Photos — Publish event photographs into Gallery → Public, distinct from attendance evidence.

  43. Private Participant Photos — Keep personal/event-memory photos private rather than publishing them into Gallery.

  44. Update own public photo — A Participant can replace their own public photo while retaining the same Event ID and uploader identity.

  45. Remove own public photo — Remove a Participant-owned image from the Coxy Events Public Gallery. Server-side ownership checks prevent one Participant from deleting another Participant's media.

  46. Shared Text — Publish event-scoped text publicly or keep text private. Public posts identify the Participant who shared them.

  47. Private Shared Information — Private Participant information remains available only to the Participant/authorized sharing flow rather than automatically becoming public.

  48. Shared-information inbox / sent views — Private sharing includes Participant-side received/sent information views.

  49. Public Audio — Upload audio for an event and publish it into Shared Audio/Video if the Organizer permits public Participant audio.

  50. Private Audio — Keep Participant audio private when public sharing is not wanted.

  51. Public Video — Upload Participant event video and publish it in Shared Audio/Video if public video is enabled for that event.

  52. Private Video — Keep Participant event video private.

  53. Large Participant media uploads — The established Participant media stack supports up to 120 MB for audio and video; audio supports up to 15 minutes and video up to 5 minutes with the established video dimension/aspect rules.

  54. Participant-public-post Organizer controls — Public Participant Text, Audio and Video remain subject to the Organizer's settings for that event; private content remains available even when a public type is disabled.

  55. Remove own public Audio/Video — Participant-owned Shared Audio/Video cards provide owner controls while other Participants' and Organizer media cannot be removed by that Participant.

  56. Public Gallery browsing — Browse separate areas for Attendees, Public Photos, Shared Text and Shared Audio/Video.

  57. Gallery lightbox — Photos can be opened individually and browsed in the Gallery rather than requiring a long full-size photo page.

  58. Public-media star ratings — Public Participant/Organizer photos, public audio and public video support media ratings. Attendee/Check-in photos are deliberately excluded from this engagement system.

  59. Public-media reactions — Participants can use the Gallery reaction controls such as hearts/emoji reactions on eligible public media.

  60. Public-media comments — Eligible public photos/audio/video support comments and stored comment totals.

  61. Authenticated engagement policy — In the current Gallery policy, rating/comment/reaction actions are restricted to verified signed-in Participant/Organizer accounts to reduce anonymous/bot abuse, and upload owners must not rate their own media.

  62. Event ratings — Participants who qualify through attendance can give an event a 1–5 rating.

  63. Event comments / feedback — Rating includes event comments/feedback and remains separate from the Check-in action.

  64. Event Enquiries — Send a message/enquiry directly to the Organizer of a joined event.

  65. Personal referral link — Copy/share a Participant-specific referral link for an event when referrals are enabled.

  66. Referral credits/rewards — Track rewards based on eligible referred people who actually Check in, rather than rewarding simple link clicks.

  67. Referral reward display in My Events — Participant History can display the number of checked-in referral rewards associated with a joined event.

  68. ADA event-entry payments — Where an Organizer makes an event ADA-paid, Participants can use the event payment flow before attendance.

  69. ADA donations — Events can also accept optional Participant donations independently of attendance when enabled. The RSVP module retains optional ADA entry and donation handling.

  70. Event subscriptions / add-ons — Participant Subscriptions & sales includes event-specific Audio/Video add-ons and legacy paid event resources.

  71. Event Resources marketplace — Browse/buy event-linked digital or premium resources separately from the general Marketplace.

  72. General Coxy Marketplace buyer — Browse community goods and services including event merchandise, gifts, clothing, graphics, caps, souvenirs, transport, catering, venue services, training materials and digital products.

  73. Shopping Cart — Add Marketplace products to a cart and check out seller-by-seller so funds and shipping remain correctly assigned.

  74. Card payments — Buy through a seller's HTTPS hosted debit/credit-card checkout without entering raw card details into Coxy Events itself.

  75. ADA with Coxy Wallet — Pay Marketplace sellers in ADA using the integrated Coxy Wallet approval flow.

  76. ADA with Lace/CIP-30 — Use Lace or another compatible Cardano browser wallet for ADA Marketplace payments.

  77. BTC payments — Pay sellers directly to their configured Bitcoin address and submit the transaction hash.

  78. ETH payments — Pay sellers directly to the configured Ethereum address and submit the transaction hash.

  79. Shipping details — For physical products, provide shipping name, phone, address, city and country.

  80. My Orders — View payment status, fulfilment status, seller/item details, shipping details, carrier and tracking link.

  81. Cancel unpaid orders — Cancel an unpaid Marketplace order before shipment and release reserved stock.

  82. Participant Marketplace seller — A verified signed-in Participant can also become a seller rather than only a buyer.

  83. Create Marketplace listing — Set product/service title, category, type and description.

  84. Marketplace product images — Add up to 8 images, up to 15 MB each, to a Participant's listing.

  85. Stock management — Set a stock quantity or leave stock unlimited for services/digital goods.

  86. Seller payment configuration — Select which supported payment methods a Participant seller wants to accept and set the required receiving destination/price.

  87. Participant seller shipping charges — Enable delivery and configure applicable shipping charges for physical products.

  88. Publish / pause / edit listing — Manage Participant-owned Marketplace items after publication.

  89. Delete own Marketplace listing — Seller-owned delete controls are implemented for Participant Marketplace sellers.

  90. Marketplace order fulfilment as seller — Process received sales and add shipment/carrier/tracking details.

  91. Event-scoped themes — Participants see the Organizer-selected theme for each event across event, RSVP, Check-in, feedback and Gallery views, without being able to edit the Organizer's theme.

  92. Coordinated Sign out — Participant Sign out clears the Coxy Events authorization and the central Coxygen/Coxy Wallet session so another person using the same browser does not inherit the previous login.

In short, the Participant role is now much more than “RSVP and Check-in.” It covers identity/profile → event discovery → RSVP → referrals → attendance → Check-out → Cardano proof → personal journal → private/public sharing → Gallery social engagement → feedback/enquiries → attendance history → paid event resources → Marketplace buying and selling.

Participant — step-by-step guide to using the current features

S. Event appearance and Sign out

Participants do not configure event themes.

  1. Open an event.
  2. Coxy Events automatically uses the theme selected by its Organizer.
  3. The theme can continue through Event, RSVP, Check-in, feedback and Gallery views.
  4. Opening another event can show that event's own theme.
  5. Participants cannot edit the Organizer's theme.

92. Sign out safely

  1. Open the Participant menu.
  2. Choose Sign out.
  3. Coxy Events clears the Participant authorization/session.
  4. The coordinated logout also clears the central Coxygen/Coxy Wallet browser session.
  5. Return to the signed-out Coxy Events state.
  6. This prevents another person using the same browser from inheriting your Participant/Coxy Wallet session.

The practical Participant journey is therefore:

Signup/Signin → Verify Profile → Browse Events → Join/RSVP → Share Referral → Check in → Optional Onchain Proof → Participate → Journal/Photos/Audio/Video → Check out → Rate Event → Review History → Use Gallery → Buy Event Resources/Marketplace Items → Optionally Sell in Marketplace → Sign out.
