Can't open modal when using Livewire template tags

Exception:

Unable to call component method. Public method [$emit(\] not found on component: [accounts.show-accounts]

Doesn't work:

Works:

I had the same issue. This worked for me.

Try invert the simple and double quotes:

    Edit
