Lectern now uses English throughout the browser extension and Android interface, including settings, help, error messages and accessibility labels. Documentation, the privacy page and store screenshots are also in English.

AI translations, explanations, article reviews and vocabulary coaching can still use Chinese. Saved articles, books and personal content retain their original language.

  • Android: install lectern-v0.3.20.apk to update an official release installation.
  • Browser extension: extract lectern-extension-v0.3.20.zip and load the directory in developer mode, or wait for the Chrome Web Store update after review.
