Roadmap: where should PrintStash go next?

I am opening this as the public roadmap thread for PrintStash.

The project is a self-hosted 3D printing asset library: STL/3MF/G-code ingestion, slicer metadata extraction, OrcaSlicer upload hook, search/tags/categories, and printer integration through Moonraker/Klipper with early Bambu LAN support.

The main things I would love feedback on:

• Which install targets matter most for self-hosters: plain Docker Compose, Unraid, TrueNAS, Synology, CasaOS, Proxmox LXC, something else?
• Which printer/provider path should be prioritized next: better Moonraker reliability, Bambu LAN upload/send, farm dashboard polish, or another provider?
• What metadata actually helps you find a print months later?
• What would make you trust this with your real print archive?

Please include your setup when commenting: slicer, printer/firmware, install target, and whether you are running a single printer or a small farm.

I use docker compose. With an Elegoo Cantauri Carbon. Would it be possible to add basic support for that too?
I would like to import or link collections from makerworld / printables / tinkercad And then link the gcode of the slicer to them (I mainly use OrcaSlicer)

Hiii! Docker Compose is supported. Right now Moonraker is the only printer provider I’ve fully tested, but I’m looking into Elegoo SDCP support for printers like the Centauri Carbon.
Collection import is partially there, but only for single models for now. Full collection import is something I want to add in a 0.6.7 release. Thanks for the feedback!

I would love to see a way to include a rich text (.md or similar) "landing page" of sorts for project folders. I like to keep descriptions, printing instructions, and images for models that I create or download. Basically, I'd like to be able to copy/paste (if you can scrape and auto download Makerworld and/or Printables model descriptions we can be best friends) the model description text and add my own notes.

Most of this shipped in 0.8.0. Collections now have a README at the top of the folder plus attachable documents. There's a Markdown editor with live preview where you can paste a model's description, add your own printing notes, drop in images, or upload PDFs. So the project-folder landing page you're describing already works. Try it and let me know.

Auto-pulling descriptions from MakerWorld/Printables isn't in yet. PrintStash already imports the files from those sites, so the groundwork exists, but grabbing the description text on top is still TODO. Heads up that scraping those pages is fragile and a bit ToS-gray, so if it lands it'll be best-effort and won't block an import if the fetch fails. For now, paste it in yourself.
