immutable db problem

Your last devlog idea https://youtu.be/0kKKWfaYaKE "sounds pretty cool" when you heard it for the first time, but on second listening I noticed some problems:

1. would you be able to view issues locally, without server access, or if not why idea of storing them in git useful at all.
2. if yes, you would need to have your immutable db running on your machine too?
3. did you calculated theoretical speed of reading 1_000_000 events directly from git? If it is acceptable, why adding necessary complexity?

Yes you'll be able to view the issues locally without server access. It will run the immutable database locally and store the data in a single file. I don't need to calculate the theoretical speed because I already know it will be slow. There is no way you can efficiently answer queries like "list all issues with this tag" without indexing.
