AnimaWorks v0.16.0

This release redesigns the web chat as a messenger-style talk screen with file attachments and a memory browser, adds a Twilio phone channel, an isolated enclave mode for sensitive data, and execution mode Y for the Antigravity CLI. It also makes tasks, inbox handling and cron quieter, and restructures the runtime so each process owns its own state.

Highlights

  • Messenger-style web chat: an Anima rail, speech bubbles with emotion faces, a live "thinking" bubble with steps and a stop button, a waiting-for-reply list, replies to notifications inside the conversation, a user-centered history feed, and a phone layout that can be added to the home screen.
  • Files in the chat: users attach files of any type, Animas attach files to their replies with the new attach_file tool, and file cards, inline players and a full-screen viewer show them. Slack exchanges with the user also appear in the web chat.
  • Memory browser: a popover in the chat with a connections bubble chart built from fact entities.
  • Phone and calls: an Anima can place urgent alert calls through Twilio (also from call_human) and hold spoken conversations with its owner; the web chat has a video-call style call screen.
  • Isolated enclave mode: an enclave Anima reads sensitive data sources and returns only masked facts through a fail-closed egress pipeline with an audit log. Host Animas ask it with enclave_ask, and results arrive in the inbox. Requires the enclave extra.
  • Mode Y: the Antigravity CLI (agy/* models) as a new execution mode.
  • Quieter work: identical open delegations are merged, each task sends one report, system notices wait for a quiet inbox window, repeated cron follow-ups are muted, and senders are told when the recipient's inbox is busy.
  • Memory: facts are extracted when sessions end, consolidation runs for several Animas at once, and atomic facts reach the prompt again.
  • Restarts finish running work first (up to server.restart_drain_timeout_seconds, default 600), and chat jobs on different threads can run in parallel (chat_max_concurrency).
  • Also new: pixel office as the default workspace, a battle view, pixel sheets generated with the other Anima assets, per-task scratch directories, and a bare animaworks that opens a chat with the head Anima.

Compatibility and upgrade notes

  • Upgrade from 0.14 or later. Direct upgrades from runtimes older than 0.14.0 are no longer supported, and startup stops with a message for them.
  • The core.tools alias is removed. Import from core.integrations. The animaworks-tool entry point is now cli.tool_dispatch:cli_dispatch.
  • Dependencies: diffusers moved to the optional image-local extra; watchdog, PyYAML, beautifulsoup4 and python-dateutil are declared runtime dependencies; litellm is held below 1.106.
  • Submitted tools are queued in the TaskStore. Run animaworks task-store migrate to move pending descriptors left by an older version.
  • Removed: the API routes for local-LLM presets, /system/cost, /tasks/summary and /system/hot-reload; the CLI commands anima codex-yolo and anima repair-bootstrap; retrieval boosts and the spreading-activation graph (their config keys are ignored).

  • Twilio 経由の電話に対応しました。anima から緊急の電話をかけられ（call_human からも可）、持ち主と音声で会話できます。Web チャットにはビデオ通話風の通話画面があります。
  • 機微なデータを隔離して扱う enclave モードを追加しました。enclave の anima がデータを読み、伏字にした事実だけを返します（enclave extra が必要）。
  • Antigravity CLI（agy/* モデル）を実行モード Y として追加しました。
  • 同じ内容の委任をまとめる、タスクごとの報告を 1 通にする、システム通知を静かな時間にまとめて処理する、cron の同じ追加処理を抑える、など無駄な動きを減らしました。
  • 再起動時は実行中の作業が終わるのを待つようになりました（既定 600 秒）。
  • 0.14 より古い版からは直接アップグレードできません。 いったん 0.14 に上げてください。
  • core.tools を削除しました（core.integrations を使ってください）。diffusers は任意の image-local extra に移り、litellm は 1.106 未満に固定しました。
  • 未使用の API ルートと CLI コマンド（anima codex-yolo・anima repair-bootstrap）を削除しました。
