🔐 SmartLock V1

Hacking an Amazon Touchscreen Door Lock to add NFC and wireless remote unlock capability using an ESP32-S3.

The Problem

Office door auto-locks after 5 seconds. Getting up every time someone knocks is annoying. The touchscreen is slow to wake up. Needed a smarter solution.

Unlock Methods

  • 📱 NFC tap — phone sticker through the hollow door
  • 🔲 QIACHIP remote — slim 4-button remote from desk
  • 🔢 Existing touchscreen — unchanged, still works normally

PN532 NFC Module Reads phone tap through door
QIACHIP 433MHz Kit Slim remote + receiver
5V Relay Triggers lock motor
5000mAh Li-Po + TP4056 Rechargeable battery via USB-C
