Hello. It's hard to find a balance. Most users requesting headshot-friendly bots, others don't want to. However bots should respect the difficulty tweak, will look into it someday ;) Not sure why it's not working correctly right now. |

Not opening an issue, because I'm a bit unsure about how its supposed to work.
Headshot probability in difficulty.cfg doesn't seem to work as intended / the results aren't very indicative of what the scale (1-100) seems to imply.
Zero in that value will indeed prevent bots from aiming at the head.
Very low values (1-3), while seem to net reduced headshots in games, they still give around 30-40% hs kill ratio. This is somewhat understandable, as one should also account of the "spread headshot" kills in mid range that are made without dliberate head aiming. But from spectating the bots, they seem to go for the head pretty frequently (surely more than 1-3% of the time)
Problem is, headshots will increase very sharply from there on: even with values like 5 (the value used for noob difficulty), headshot kill ratio will be very high in game (usually at least 50%), and up to about 80% with a value of 100. So it seems to scale in a strange way. As a result, bots are very headshot-happy even on the easiest settings.
Is this working as intended? Maybe it's worth some looking into?
Testing was done using the latest continuous build (4.5.1030) on dust2 and aztec, spectating 6v6 bots on diff 2, testing various headshot probability values for about 10-20 rounds at a time. Many thanks for the project, keep it up!
