SCSS, bower server, styles/main.css not found

Hi,
I wanted today to try scss support of yeoman.
I followed the procedure :
$ yo angular
include Twitter Bootstrap? Yes
use the SCSS version of Twitter Bootstrap with the Compass CSS Authoring Framework? Yes
$ grunt server

And then the default view load but without style formatting. In the console I can see that it cannot find /styles/main.css file.
I have seen that compass put the file in .tmp/styles/main.css, so I tried to change it in index.html. But the same. Moreover there is no .tmp directory in my project folder.

So I ran "grunt build" and loaded the index.html in dist directory in a MAMP server. Same, no css formatting, moreover no error in the console

New generation of an angular app with the same parameters as jerome86.

• No css when launching grunt server.
• xyz.main.css in the dist folder is empty,
• yo version 1.0.4 &

Seeing your index.html file and Gruntfile.js output would also be helpful.

yo 1.0.4, generator-angular 0.4.0 from a clean install of npm works fine for me. tested grunt server and grunt build.

What changes were made to the project? Can you try generating the project again and run grunt server without changing anything to confirm its the generator itself?

Regenerated a new applications using yo v 1.0.4 & angular generator v 0.4.0 with yo angular --minsafe, selecting Bootstrap, Compass & all three angular modules. Still no css.

Well, I'm officially stumped. I just scaffolded with all of the default options. Running grunt server created and served everything it should have.

What platforms and versions are we on? (Run the command here please)

what versions of compass/sass do you have?

i tried with minsafe and it worked fine as well

dumb question, where is the dist dir created by default? I'm not seeing it, but I assume it's there as we are still serving all other files via the server task.

dist is created in the same level as /app and /gruntfile when you run grunt build. When you run grunt server, it is not created; instead .tmp is created that proxies the compiled files to the browser.

i updated to those and it still works. can you gist the output of grunt server --verbose

ok, interesting, i didn't see the grunt build task as a pre-req, but just ran that now. it creates the dist dir and all it's contents.

... the catch is it creates an empty main.css but with a 'fingerprint'(?) named (in my case) d41d8cd9.main.css
