I am a Shell Energy Scholar at MIT Energy Initiative and MIT Sloan School of Management. I have been fortunate to be supervised by Professor Thomas Magnanti and work with research scientist Dr. Pablo Duenas-Martinez.
My research interests focus on data-driven operations and planning for sustainable energy and transportation systems under the transformation of the AI Era, by employing advanced stochastic models and machine learning techniques. My Ph.D. thesis focuses on bridging power system optimization under uncertainty and machine learning forecasting. At MIT Energy Initiative, I have been working on the net-zero Indian power system planning, with the founding director of the MIT Tata Center for Technology and Design, Dr. Robert Stoner and Prof. Dharik Mallapragada at NYU. Previously, I have also been working with Prof. Benjamin Hobbs on U.S. power market modelling.
I hold a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where I worked with Prof. Malcolm McCulloch, Prof. Thomas Morstyn and other brilliant mentors.
