I’m a little late to the game, but this string of words is the first in my attempt to keep a digital garden. I've come across a number of different variations but the general consensus of what exactly a "digital garden" is seems to be somewhere between a thought dump, personal wiki, and experimental knowledge base that is growing and evolving continuously, reminiscent of personal sites from the early 90s to 00s.

## My Personal Take
1717
In the spirit of keeping my digital garden true to form, weeds and all, expect to see writing in varying stages of polish—from brain farts to unfinished drafts to working notes. I might prune and cultivate as I go but, for the most part, I will be using this space to share my musings without the pressure of a more traditional, blog-like approach.

## Navigation & Structure
20-
Structurally speaking, my digital garden is set up more like a chronological blog than something truly wild and free form. As more of my thoughts take root here, my goal is to eventually build an interconnected web of knowledge and insights that I've gleaned through work (and play!). At some point, I'd like to work towards incorporating [growth stages](https://freezing.cool/notes/maturity-identification), [bi-directional links](https://maggieappleton.com/bidirectionals), and maybe something closer to a [network-like navigational structure](https://www.eastgate.com/garden/Beyond_Navigation.html), which reminds me of text-based games.

## Inspiration

I'll probably be adding to this list over time, with so many different and takes on digital gardens, but here are just a few that pushed me to start my own and inspired my approach:

I'll most likely be adding to this list over time, as I deep dive further into the rabbit hole of digital gardens and the [IndieWeb](https://indieweb.org/) as a whole, with so many different and unique takes on digital gardening, personal wikis, and knowledge bases, but here are just a few that have pushed me to start my own and inspired my approach:
