YukonTR Sports League Scheduler Users Guide

YukonTR Sports League Scheduler supports both Round-Robin League and Tournament Schedules.

Round-Robin League Scheduling Features

  1. Supports Irregular Field Schedule availability (temporary closures, non-regular hours)
  2. Scheduler preference support, with priorities.
  3. Scheduling conflict avoidance, with priorities.
  4. Field affinity for teams.

Tournament Scheduling Features

  1. Supports Irregular Field Schedule availability (temporary closures, non-regular hours)
  2. Single, Double, Consolation Bracket-style tournaments.

a. Single Elimination - A team is out of the tournament if it loses once. Winners continue playing into subsequent rounds. Final two winners plays in a championship match. The losers from the semi-final round may play for 3rd place.

b. Double Elimination - Each team continues to play until it loses twice. Winners continue playing in subsequent rounds in the 'winners' bracket. Losers of a match move to the 'losers' bracket and play in elimination rounds (a team is out of the tournament if they lose a second time.) The winner of the 'losers' bracket meets the winner of the 'winners' bracket in the championship match. 3rd place is automatically determined as the loser of the final found in the 'losers' bracket.

c. Consolation (Modified double elimination). Identical to the Double Elimination format, except the winner of the 'losers' bracket does not play the winner of the 'winners' bracket. The winner of the 'winners' bracket is determined overall champion, and the winner of the 'losers' bracket is determined to be second (or merely the consolation round champion).

  1. World-Cup Style Tournaments (Round-Robin preliminary rounds followed by Elimination)
