Have you checked journald logs or launching from terminal instead? I assume your system and drivers are up to date, and have rebooted at least once afterwards. I recommend troubleshooting from here, if not already: https://zed.dev/docs/linux#zed-fails-to-start If nothing else works, backup and uninstall Zed completely (no config leftovers), then install from your package manager if possible. Though, if neither pacman, AUR, nor the official script installation fixes the issue, you could try Flatpak. |

Summary
Zed infinitely launches on Arch Linux with Hyprland.
Description
I've reinstalled Zed after moving back to other editor and now I can't get it to open. Whenever I launch /usr/bin/zeditor it just hangs. Nothing. In ~/.local/share/zed/logs/Zed.log there is only 1 new line getting added when launched:
2025-07-11T15:07:15+07:00 INFO [zed] ========== starting zed ==========
And that's all.
Steps to reproduce:
Expected Behavior: Zed window opens
Actual Behavior: Pure nothingness
Zed Version and System Specs
I can't. There's no Zed window to access the command palette from.
