🌱 StoryCore Engine – New Direction
Native integration of open‑source tools + LLM‑assisted animation pipelines
Over the coming months, StoryCore Engine will evolve toward deeper integration with the open‑source tools creators naturally use: Blender, Krita, and ComfyUI.
The goal is to accelerate the production of animation — especially anime‑style and hybrid 2D/3D workflows — by combining traditional techniques (camera setups, plates, layers, parallaxes, rigs) with procedural systems assisted by LLMs.
StoryCore will provide intelligent assistants capable of:
• generating scenes, shots, and camera movements
• organizing plates, layers, and assets
• preparing coherent Blender or Krita setups
• automating rendering pipelines
• speeding up production while preserving artistic control and quality
The ambition is clear:
👉 a narrative and visual engine that helps artists create faster, without sacrificing style, precision, or creative freedom.
🧩 Concrete Implementation Ideas for StoryCore Engine
Below are modular, realistic, and scalable ideas that fit perfectly with StoryCore’s philosophy.
🔧 1. Native Connectors for Blender / Krita / ComfyUI
Blender Integration
• StoryCore add‑on with a dedicated panel
• automatic import of generated scenes
• camera placement based on narrative intent
• simple 2D/3D rig generation
• plate management (parallax, layers, fog, FX)
• export of technical passes (depth, normal, masks) to ComfyUI
Krita Integration
• StoryCore plugin for:
• generating storyboards from scripts
• organizing layers using a StoryCore standard
• exporting lineart/flat/shadow passes to ComfyUI
• importing AI‑generated variations for manual refinement
ComfyUI Integration
• Prebuilt StoryCore workflows for:
• anime frame generation
• interpolation
• upscaling
• technical passes (depth, normal, segmentation)
🧠 2. Procedural Systems Assisted by LLMs
Your idea of “procedural systems assisted by LLMs” can be formalized into four modules:
Module 1 — SceneBuilder
• generates technical scene descriptions
• proposes required assets
• builds a ready‑to‑use Blender scene
Module 2 — CameraDirector
• suggests multiple camera movements
• generates Blender camera paths
• adapts style (anime, cinematic, handheld, drone)
Module 3 — PlateComposer
• organizes 2D/3D layers
• proposes atmospheric FX
• builds parallax setups
Module 4 — RenderBrain
• selects optimal render passes
• prepares exports for ComfyUI
• optimizes render time and consistency
🎨 3. Hybrid Anime Pipeline (2D/3D + AI)
A simple, reproducible pipeline that StoryCore can automate:
StoryCore becomes the conductor connecting all tools.
🧱 4. StoryCore Standardization
You love designing conventions and protocols — here are standards we can formalize:
• StoryCore Layer Standard (SLS)
• StoryCore Camera Grammar (SCG)
• StoryCore Scene Descriptor (SSD)
• StoryCore Asset Pack Format (SAPF)
• StoryCore Render Pipeline (SRP)
This gives StoryCore a professional identity and makes adoption easier.
🚀 5. GitHub‑Ready Roadmap (English)
You can paste this directly into your README or roadmap:
Roadmap 2025–2026
• Native Blender integration (StoryCore add‑on)
• Krita plugin for storyboards + passes
• ComfyUI workflows optimized for anime
• LLM‑assisted procedural systems
• Hybrid 2D/3D pipelines
• StoryCore standardization (SLS, SCG, SSD, SAPF)
• Automatic scene, shot, and camera generation
• Automated rendering and interpolation
• Tools for cinematic YouTube Shorts
