Option to move tab hover action buttons to the left side

When hovering over a tab, three action buttons appear on the right side (close X, expand arrows, reader mode/book icon).

I'd like a setting or mod option to move these buttons to the left side of the tab, which would be more ergonomic for users whose sidebar is on the left — keeping the mouse movement in one area instead of having to reach across the tab.

This could be a toggle in Settings > Look and Feel, or exposed as a mod option.
