Tablet Mode Compatibility?

Love using this browser! Once in a while I'll want to study with tablet mode for my laptop (with the keyboard folder backwards) but I can't change tabs easily or even type a new link in without changing back to normal laptop mode or disabling compact mode in the browser.

If we could get some gesture detection to make this a thing, that would be great. Like swiping from left to right brings the tabs list out from compact mode when laptop is in tablet mode.
