Current feature/improvement list that would help the ZXPlore community:

• ZOWE (VSCode)
    ○ Specific user-helpful cause information instead of “Unable to validate credentials”
        § Connectivity – invalid host/port/protocol
        § Timeout – no response, firewall drop
        § Password expired
    ○ Provide whole of joblog view option, rather than only joblog spool datasets list view (automatic fetch of all job spools in order – bulk or dynamic)
    ○ Options for profile admin – raw JSON editing is error-prone, and poorly documented
        § Raw JSON for admins
        § Prompted interface for mass users
    ○ Update credentials dialog improvement – VSCode entry field often missed 
    ○ Improve session clean-up – reduce S222 joblog pollution
    ○ Change new dataset allocation default space units from 1 CYL to 50-100 KB – “modern” units, smaller default
    ○ Change new dataset allocation names from “Classic” to “PDS” and from “PDS” to “LIBRARY”
    ○ Enable Password change dialog - with replaceable endpoint – users should be able to update an expired password, but we need to be able to direct them to an alternative webpage to achieve this
• ZOWE CLI vs ZOAU
    ○ CLI still not properly supported on USS
    ○ Confusion overlap with ZOAU 
    ○ ZOAU closed source, USS-only
• Plugin configuration standardise/harmonise
    ○ Standardise config entry – panel or prompted JSON updates
    ○ Db2 – panel, CICS – currently broken panel, vs raw JSON
• General problem – host errors are very often passed through to the user with little/no value-add, requiring additional research/decoding to identify, and resolve; decode errors before presenting to user, and ideally offer most-likely user-implementable fix

There are occasional challenges with the CLI, but almost entirely due to profile config issues.
