Backend engineer focused on distributed systems and keeping infrastructure simple, reliable, and — ideally — boring.
I mostly work in Go, with Python and shell scripting filling in the gaps. I care a lot about building systems that are easy to operate and don't surprise you at 2am.
- Go — primary language, most of my serious projects live here
- Python — scripting, tooling, the occasional service
- Shell — glue code, automation, CI pipelines
- Distributed systems — consensus, messaging, coordination primitives
- Infra / DevOps — Kubernetes, Terraform, observability stacks
- Building a small CLI tool for managing local dev environments across projects
- Digging into raft implementations to better understand leader election edge cases
- Trying to write more about the infra decisions I make at work (slowly)
