HW2 Part-E V3.0 - Front and Rear Limit Switch Holder Update

PicoBETH HW2 Part-E V3.0 is now available.

This update includes redesigned front and rear limit switch holders with a new clamp-style mounting design.
The holders are easier to install, remove, and maintain, and can be detached without tools.

V3.0 also adds a mechanical safety stop structure to both the front and rear limit switch holders.
If a limit switch fails, the safety stop can block the sliding platform from continuing to move, helping reduce the risk of impact damage to the load cell.

This is a recommended update for PicoBETH HW2 users.

I purchased the GX80 1605 and am currently working on a project using a 3D printer.
Since this is my first time working with a 3D printer, do you happen to have any relevant resources or information?
For now, I am simply modifying the dimensions of an existing design—would that be okay?

I would recommend learning Tinkercad first. It’s very beginner-friendly, and most people can get comfortable with it within a few days.

For a stringing machine like this, I think Tinkercad can fully meet the design needs. It is simple, intuitive, and very suitable for modifying or creating mechanical parts for 3D printing. You can also export the model directly as an STL file, which makes printing very easy.

If you need any original design files or reference parts from my project, I can also provide them so you can use Tinkercad’s Merge function to mix and modify parts more easily.

Your idea is definitely feasible. It just takes some time, patience, and interest to make it happen.
