backlight issues

hi i use the backlight function well kind off
very intermittent set time. then it will go off random, or sometimes it will at the time then turn on again
also if you set the time to turn off at 6:00pm to 7 am it wont but if you restart the unit after 6pm it goes straight to backlight off until the morning
time and ntp is set correct , it happens with 1.1.5 1.1.6 and compiled my own yesterday
