2 BMG extruders - y splitter - 1 filament sensor - extruder

I set it up like this

and completed it so that I can change the filament.

While printing, the printing proceeds with the loaded filament, but even if the filament runs out, it continues printing in the air without changing the filament.

When I wasn't using happy hare, I was able to modify the [filament switch sensor] in klipper,

but how do I do this, for now?

I'm sorry if this seems like a very basic question.

Hi @Ecoglory2 ,

As explained in the docs at the end of the sensors section, you must remove all filament_switch_sensor and filament_motion_sensor sections. If you follow the instructions before that, you can configure your sensors in HH to handle funouts.

I defined my only one filament sensor as 'gate endstop.' And there is no extruder endstop.

Your document says that gate endstop is 'optional' .
So, do I must define my endstop as extruder endstop? Not gate endstop?

The reason that I defined it as gate endstop is endstop is little a bit far from extruder.

If the sensor is right at the end of the Y-splitter, it's a gate endstop. If it's closer to your printer's extruder, its an extruder entry sensor.
