Built on Frigate v0.17.2
🎉 Fregata v0.18.0-beta2 is also available to be installed manually from here: https://github.com/3rdBitLabs/Fregata/releases/tag/v0.18.0-beta2
What's Changed
Prevent a macOS "Local Network" permission denied from blocking Fregata startup. Now, a warning is simply thrown and if connections are blocked to MQTT, GenAI, or camera end points those connections will fail until the permission is granted, but Fregata will still start.
Fix "birdseye" go2rtc restreaming from failing in some scenarios
Measure ANE & GPU power usage on startup to accurately determine where the object detection model is running
Prevent "Eject DMG" or other open dialogs from preventing a Frigate restart from the Frigate WebUI
Remove unused
nameconfig option from Adaptive Transcoding rungs (if you added these to your config, which is rare, you'll need to remove them before Frigate will start)Fix log statement when restarting Frigate that inaccurately claimed leftover files in the tmpfs RAM disk were from an unclean shutdown
Improved license activation error messages
Allow users to request a trial on one Mac, but activate it on another Mac if it was never activated on the first (requesting) Mac
Allow users to use the License Management dashboard to release a trial from one Mac to activate it on another Mac, just like paid licenses
