Comment on switching version

When you switch 4D versions you're taken to a home page, not to the page/command/section you were looking at, but for the new version.

When my mouse hovers over the version:

it becomes a pop-out that give me a list of all available versions:

When I select the version I want, I'm taken to the docs for that item, for that version.

Hello, thank you for your comment. The Django documentation interface that lets you switch between versions is excellent. However, the 4D documentation version menu is also useful.
The issue with switching versions isn’t related to the interface, but rather to the availability of pages across different versions. Since we’ve gradually imported a very large number of pages from doc.4d.com, and we continue to add new features and pages, not all pages have equivalents in the other versions yet. In such cases, the fallback solution is to display the home page. This is mainly the case for versions 18, 19, and quite 20, which were transitional versions.
However, when the same page exists in the other version, that page is the one displayed when you use the menu. We recently added a small icon in the menu to indicate that the page is not available in a given version.
