EPG and recording

Hello, Thanks for this program, I am happy with it as it is ..but :-)
I did not yet figure out how to use EPG and not how to download a live stream.

It would be amazing if we could search in EPG of all chanels and mark something to record it.
( like I can with my satellite receiver ).

I am also struggling to figure out EPG. Nothing I have tried has worked. I have loaded a complete EPG source that shows all possible channels, and it shows up under the Multi-EPG View, but no individual stations show EPG in the "All Channels" list. I have tried entering specific tvg- info in my m3u playlist, which I edit using TextEdit on Mac. Is there a clear tutorial available on how to configure EPG in a text-based m3u playlist?
