New feature

Heatmap for quick visual inspection of similarity and other features between two MS2 files. The heatmap is generated by counting the number inner products, where the coordinates represent the mass difference and inner product value. For files that are highly similar, the heatmap at inner product 1.0 and mass difference 0.0 will by dominating. Furthermore, an indication of charge states is given by the heatmap near integer fractions (1/2, 1/3, 2/3 and so on).

Bug fixes

  • In the phylogenetic tree, the color representing the sample quality (number of spectra) was sometimes incorrect. Thanks to Magnus Palmblad for reporting.
  • Due to a bug in string comparison, MGF files with lines that contained certain character combinations where incorrectly parsed. Thanks to Michel Dierckx for reporting.

These and some other minor problems are now fixed.
