v0.1.1.0: Multi-Language Support

This update adds multi-language UI support and fixes a packaging issue where language resources were not included in the MSIX bundle.

✨ What's New in This Release

  • Multi-Language Support:
    • The UI now automatically switches to match your Windows system language.
    • Supported languages: English, Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), Simplified Chinese (简体中文).
  • Bug Fix:
    • Fixed an issue where language resources were split into separate resource packages during MSIX bundling, causing the installed app to always display in English regardless of system language.

🛠️ Installation Instructions

  1. Go to Settings → System → Advanced and enable Developer Mode.
  2. Download OmniConsole_0.1.1.0_x64.msix and OmniConsole_0.1.1.0_x64.cer from the Assets below.
  3. Double-click the .cer file → click Install Certificate → Store Location: Local Machine → Place all certificates in the following store → Browse → select Trusted People → Finish.
  4. Double-click the .msix file to install.

⚙️ Prerequisites

  • Windows 11 24H2+ with Full Screen Experience enabled.
  • Desktops & Laptops: Use Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool to enable FSE first.
  • Native Handheld Devices (e.g., ROG Xbox Ally series): FSE is natively supported. Install OmniConsole directly.

📋 Post-Installation Setup

  1. Open OmniConsole Settings from Start Menu (All Apps) and select your preferred platform.
  2. Go to Settings → Gaming → Full Screen Experience and set "Choose Home app" to OmniConsole.
  3. Optionally enable "Enter full screen experience on startup" for auto-launch at boot.

🛠️ 安裝說明

  1. 前往設定 → 系統 → 進階，啟用開發人員模式。
  2. 從下方 Assets 下載 OmniConsole_0.1.1.0_x64.msix 與 OmniConsole_0.1.1.0_x64.cer。
  3. 點兩下 .cer 檔案 → 點選安裝憑證 → 存放區位置選擇本機電腦 → 將所有憑證放入以下存放區 → 瀏覽 → 選擇受信任的人 → 完成。
  4. 點兩下 .msix 檔案進行安裝。

⚙️ 前置條件

  • 桌上型電腦 / 筆記型電腦：請先使用 Xbox Full Screen Experience Tool 啟用 FSE 功能。

📋 安裝後設定

  3. 可選擇啟用「啟動時進入全螢幕體驗」，開機即自動啟動。
