Tony Hawk's Proving Ground (2007) is the ninth main entry in the skateboarding series and the final game developed by Neversoft. Set in open-world versions of Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., it allows players to choose between three distinct career paths: Career (fame and tricks), Rigger (building ramps and rails), and Hardcore (aggressive street skating). The game is known for introducing precise "Nail-the-Trick" mechanics, a deep video editor, and the series' first online multiplayer mode.
