Hi all,
I'm relatively new to APSIMX and currently working on a project where I simulate 50% flowering dates for several crops and compare them against field observations. I’d really appreciate your input on whether the output syntax I’m using is correct.
Here’s what I’ve implemented so far:
Canola: [Canola].Phenology.StartFloweringDAS
Wheat: [Wheat].Phenology.FloweringDAS
Barley: [Barley].Phenology.FloweringDAS
Chickpea (used as a proxy for Vetch): [Chickpea].Phenology.FloweringDAS
I’d be grateful for any feedback on whether these correctly capture the flowering stage, especially for comparative purposes.
Additionally, I’m curious to know what proxies you typically use for vetch and faba beans in APSIMX. Do you calibrate these proxies with site-specific data, or use default parameters as-is?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Chandani
