Thank you for creating the ASCII to EBCDIC Conversion tool. It works well and has been incredibly helpful to our team. We truly appreciate your efforts and the value this tool has brought to our workflow.

We would like to request the following feature enhancements:

• Support for VB (Variable Block) files
• Inclusion of OCCURS and OCCURS DEPENDING ON clauses
• Support for the CP037 extended code page

These additions would further improve the tool’s versatility and alignment with our processing needs.

This is already in master, will be released this week.

This might take a while. How does the schema look in Spark? Arrays of struct fields?

Thanks @yruslan. And sorry for the delayed response. We will like both the options arrays of structure fields as well as the fields will be separate fields. For example if it’s occurs depending on clause o to 9 the spark schema will have all 9 columns and when the depending column has value 3 all occurrences after 3 in the flat schema version will have nulls.
