How to tell the Adept compiler to generate LLVM IR?

Clang has -S -emit-llvm switch. I wonder if the Adept compiler has something similar.

Yes, Adept has --llvmir

previously this only existed in compiler debug builds, but I've changed nightly so that release builds now include these features.
