What if I want Adept to use my own version of GCC?

Instead of the bundled one? The real problem is integrating with MSYS2. MSYS2 is a rolling release system, and everything is always in the latest versions. The libraries shipped by Adept and the GCC version bundled are way too old.

You should be able to just replace the provided binaries with your own. The only place gcc is used is for creating Windows resource files, otherwise ld is the more important one as Adept directly uses it to link.
