• Package netutil/sysresolv with utilities for retrieving the IP addresses of DNS resolvers provided by the OS. This package was added v0.16.2 (which hasn't been released here) , but with a slightly different API.

• Function hostsfile.DefaultHostsPaths which returns a set of paths to the system hosts files, default for the current OS.
