SimRig has only been tested on a few real devices so far: a Fanatec CSL DD, a USB H-pattern
shifter and a handbrake. Everything else works against simulated devices, which is not the same
as a real wheel on a real desk. If you own one of the devices below, you can help a lot with
about 15 minutes of your time.
What to do
change the rotation, does the force feedback test move the wheel, do the settings stick
after unplugging and plugging back? A race in a game you play is a bonus.
"Everything works" is a useful report too.
Questions before trying, or something you're not sure about? Ask here.
Good to know
yourself (package, AUR, by hand), SimRig uses it as it is and only adds its access rules.
uninstalling the app, with
sudo /var/lib/simrig/remove-drivers --all.kernel's headers (SimRig tells you what's missing). With Secure Boot on, it walks you through
enrolling the signing key once.
Which devices need testing
Testers are credited in the README next to the device they tested. Thanks!
