There is now an open-access textbook on powder diffraction crystallography and GSAS-II by Brian H. Toby, with title Crystallographic Powder Diffraction Analysis with GSAS-II: An Introduction to Rietveld Analysis. At present this book is only a completed draft, and is posted as a "preview version" (edition 0.9).
To download a copy, open the textbook's GitHub releases page and download the PDF file. There is an HTML version but this is generated for machine-learning applications and is not as well formatted as the PDF.
