Alpha installer refresh

This refresh replaces all five downloads under the existing alpha-v0.1.0 release with builds from 7cf313b9e2a5411923471bca5d0302fa85074c3f.

The embedded application version is 0.1.8. The release label and download filenames remain alpha-v0.1.0; the existing release tag remains at its original commit. To inspect the source corresponding to these replacement installers, use the exact commit above, not the automatically generated tag source archives.

Changed

• Reuses the Hermes Git updater with Eidolon repository identity.
• Adds consent-gated preparation and activation of a managed, full-history source checkout for release/archive installations that do not contain .git.
• Selects the prepared checkout for subsequent backend startup and updates; failed unpublished preparation attempts are cleaned up without replacing the active checkout.
• Derives v0.1.x from immutable Git history rather than release tags. The same commit produces the same version; the counter follows first-parent commits from the fixed 0.1.0 anchor.
• Retains explicit confirmation for prerequisite build-tool installation.

Verification and limitations

Build and verification run.

All five installers were built on their target platform/architecture. Packaging verification checked extracted native payload architecture, embedded commit/version identity, and loading/spawning the packaged node-pty addon with Electron's actual ABI. Release-policy tests passed. Installer SHA-256 digests were compared with the corresponding build receipts before replacement.

These checks are not an end-to-end certification of first-launch setup, the complete installed-app update/replacement/relaunch flow, every interrupted update, or AI conversation/fleet behavior. The updater source change passed independent bounded review; known baseline test failures were not counted as passing tests.

This remains experimental alpha software. Keep independent backups and use disposable data. The macOS application is ad-hoc signed and not notarized; it has no Developer ID signature. Windows installers are not publisher-signed. Platform security warnings may apply.

Organization and knowledge views remain prototypes, not a live autonomous team or durable cross-agent memory system. Creating an objective does not dispatch work.
