Ages Primitives is a Forge 1.20.1 mod that adds a TerraFirmaCraft-inspired knapping system to early game progression. Hold a valid material, open the knapping UI, and chip away cells on a grid to form tool heads and primitive parts. Recipes are JSON/datapack based, while supported knapping types are fixed to built-in presets (rock, flint, clay, fire_clay, leather, bone). Ages Primitives is designed as a foundation for full primitive-age gameplay, with room to expand into pottery, hideworking, firemaking, and more.
