Installation Guide

All mods require JimK72's Icarus Mod Manager (IMM).

1. Install the Mod Manager

Download and install IMM from its GitHub page. It handles installing, merging, and updating mods.

2. Install a data mod (EXMOD)

1. Download the mod's .EXMODZ (from the website or Releases).
2. Open IMM, Import, select the .EXMODZ.
3. Enable it, let IMM merge, launch the game.

Most mods here are EXMOD-only — no extra files needed.

3. Install a PAK mod

A few mods also ship a .pak:

1. Import the .EXMODZ in IMM as above.
2. Copy the _P.pak into ...\steamapps\common\Icarus\Icarus\Content\Paks\mods\ (create mods if missing).
3. Multiplayer: every player AND the dedicated server must install the same .pak.

4. Combining mods

IMM merges multiple EXMODs automatically. If two mods edit the same row, the later one wins — see Troubleshooting.
