Problems with changing config values

I turned off the eternal binding of the ring of seven curses in the config, but nothing has changed in the game. The same thing happened when I reduced the required time to wear the ring from 99.5% to 75%, but 99.5% remains. Is there any way to fix this bug, or do I have to wait for the new version of the mod?
