AStages Addon for FTB Quests
This addon bridges AStages and FTB Quests, allowing you to grant or revoke stages as quest rewards for both individual players and the entire server.
The mod introduces two new reward types to FTB Quests:
- AStages Player Reward: Adds or removes a stage exclusively for the player who claims the reward.
- AStages Server Reward: Adds or removes a stage globally at the server level.
Setting up these rewards is fully integrated into the FTB Quests in-game editor.
When creating or editing a quest, add a new reward and select either the AStages Player or AStages Server reward type from the list.
Once selected, our custom compact configuration menu will open automatically. Here you can easily define what the reward does:
- Stage Field: click the text box and type the exact name of the stage you want to target.
- Action Toggle: click the action button to switch between Add Stage and Remove Stage.
Make sure the stage name matches your configuration exactly (case-sensitive) to prevent any issues when players claim the reward.
Tip
Icon Match: if a custom icon is set using correct method (via KubeJS), the icon will be shown near the stage name.
Before the reward is actually clicked, players are able to understand if the stage will be added or removed:
- Green Hover: a green text means that the stage will be added.
- Red Hover: a red text means that the stage will be removed.
If you need to change the properties of an already created reward later, you can right-click it and select Edit. This will open the classic FTB Quests property editor window where you can manually adjust the values.
