Private BIP353 Addresses Preview

This preview release expands the Privacy Mode foundation introduced in v0.2.106 and adds a new workflow for managing private BIP353 Lightning Addresses.

New

  • Publish BIP353 Lightning Addresses directly from Offer History
  • Create private Lightning Addresses without exposing them on the public alias page
  • Create temporary, customer-specific, or event-specific BIP353 addresses
  • Server-side Offer History stored in SQLite

Improved

  • Automatic DNS cleanup when deleting Offer History entries
  • Automatic DNS cleanup when clearing Offer History
  • Improved Offer History synchronization across devices and browsers
  • BIP353 addresses become immediately visible after publishing

Privacy

This release builds on the Privacy Mode introduced in v0.2.106:

  • Optional BOLT12 + BIP353 operation without LNURL fallback
  • Optional disabling of LNURL metadata and callback endpoints
  • Reduced public exposure of payment identifiers
