Following MacOSCleaner 2.1.0, version 2.1.1 is a developer & system maintenance update: Touch ID authentication for sudo commands and forced Spotlight re-indexing for system storage calculations.

🔑 Touch ID for Sudo (sudo_local)

One-click PAM configuration for macOS 26+:

• Safe configuration of /etc/pam.d/sudo_local via auth sufficient pam_tid.so
• Biometric auth — use your Touch ID fingerprint for sudo authentication in Terminal and system cleaner operations
• Developer convenience — eliminates repetitive password prompts for power users and developers

🔍 Spotlight Index Rebuilder (mdutil -E)

Fix corrupted search indexes and stuck disk capacity accounting:

• Forced re-indexing — triggers Spotlight index rebuild via sudo mdutil -E /
• Storage reporting fix — resolves incorrect "System Data / Other" capacity breakdowns in Finder & System Settings
• Search performance — restores fast, accurate system file searching
